ThinkReview - Version 2.3.5 Release Notes

Release Date: 5 August 2026

🎯 What's New

Adjustable review panel text size 🔤

You can now change how large review text appears in the integrated panel. Choose from Small, Medium, Large, or Extra large in the settings gear menu, and your preference is remembered for future reviews.

Quick +/- controls in the panel header ➕➖

Need a fast tweak? Use the new and + buttons in the review panel header to step text size down or up without opening the settings menu.

Auto-start review is back ⚡

Reviews can once again start automatically when you open a PR or MR page. The temporary manual-only mode has been removed, so ThinkReview works the way most users expect — reviews begin as soon as you land on a pull request.

Auto-start on by default for new users 🆕

New installs now have Start review automatically turned on out of the box. If you prefer to trigger reviews yourself, you can switch to manual mode at any time from the extension popup or the review panel settings menu.

Auto-start toggle in the panel settings menu ⚙️

You can now turn automatic reviews on or off directly from the settings gear menu in the review panel — no need to open the extension popup. The toggle stays in sync wherever you change it.

Smarter completion bubble when the panel is minimized 💬

When a review finishes while the panel is minimized, the notification bubble now highlights what matters most:

- In Scoring layout, it shows your first suggestion.
- In Severity layout, it shows your first critical issue (or the first high-priority issue if there are no critical ones).

The bubble also includes a warning icon and clearer formatting so you can spot important findings at a glance.

More reliable reviews when switching PRs quickly 🔄

Navigating between pull requests on the same page no longer leaves the review button stuck in a loading state. ThinkReview now correctly cancels outdated reviews when you move to a different PR, so the UI always reflects the review you are actually looking at.

Helpful tip for managing daily credits 💡

A new tip banner reminds you that you can switch to manual review mode to better control how your daily review credits are used, with quick links to settings and usage.
