GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES)
This page is a brief companion to the main GitHub integration guide, focused only on self‑hosted GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES).
github.com vs GHES
Section titled “github.com vs GHES”- github.com: ThinkReview works out of the box once you install the extension. No extra setup is required.
- GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES, self‑hosted): You need to add your custom GHES domain so the extension knows where to run.
Setup for GHES
Section titled “Setup for GHES”- Open the ThinkReview browser extension popup.
- Scroll to GitHub Integration → GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) Domains.
- Add your GHES instance domain, for example:
https://github.mycompany.com
- When the browser asks for permission for that domain, click Allow.
- Navigate to a Pull Request on your GHES instance with a URL like:
/org/repo/pull/123
- You should now see the ThinkReview button on the bottom right and can run reviews as usual.
For more details about features and troubleshooting, see the main GitHub Integration guide.
