GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES)

This page is a brief companion to the main GitHub integration guide, focused only on self‑hosted GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES).

  • github.com: ThinkReview works out of the box once you install the extension. No extra setup is required.
  • GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES, self‑hosted): You need to add your custom GHES domain so the extension knows where to run.
  1. Open the ThinkReview browser extension popup.
  2. Scroll to GitHub Integration → GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) Domains.
  3. Add your GHES instance domain, for example:
  4. When the browser asks for permission for that domain, click Allow.
  5. Navigate to a Pull Request on your GHES instance with a URL like:
    • /org/repo/pull/123
  6. You should now see the ThinkReview button on the bottom right and can run reviews as usual.
