Bitbucket Data Center

Bitbucket Data Center

ThinkReview works with Bitbucket Data Center (self-hosted Bitbucket Server / Data Center) when the extension can reach your instance. You need two things: an HTTP access token from Bitbucket with permission to read repositories and pull requests, and your instance base URL (custom domain or internal hostname) configured in ThinkReview so API calls go to the right place.

The walkthrough below shows how to create the token in Bitbucket Data Center and how to open ThinkReview Settings, enter your custom domain / server URL, and paste the token there.

Create an HTTP access token and configure the extension

After you save settings

  • Browse to a pull request on your Bitbucket Data Center instance (same host you configured).

  • Open AI Review from the ThinkReview UI so it can load the diff using your token.
  • If something fails, confirm the base URL matches how users open Bitbucket in the browser (including https, port, and context path if your admin uses one).

    Bitbucket Cloud vs Data Center

TL;DR: Create an HTTP access token in Bitbucket Data Center with the permissions your org requires for reading repos/PRs. In ThinkReview Settings, set your Bitbucket Data Center / server URL (your custom domain), paste the token, save, then use AI Review on a pull request.
