Kimi K2.5 is now available in ThinkReview
We're pleased to announce that Kimi K2.5 from Moonshot AI is now available in ThinkReview. Described by its creators as the most powerful open-source model to date, K2.5 brings visual agentic intelligence to your code reviews—on GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket.
What is Kimi K2.5?
Kimi K2.5 builds on Kimi K2 with continued pretraining over roughly 15T mixed visual and text tokens. It’s a native multimodal model with state-of-the-art coding and vision capabilities, and it supports a self-directed agent swarm paradigm for complex tasks.
For code and engineering workflows, K2.5 excels at understanding codebases, reasoning over images and documentation, and delivering precise, actionable feedback—making it a strong fit for AI-powered merge request reviews.
Why use Kimi K2.5 in ThinkReview
- Strong coding performance — Top-tier open-source results on coding benchmarks, including SWE-Bench Verified and front-end development tasks.
- Vision + code — Native multimodal training improves image-to-code and visual debugging, so reviews can leverage screenshots, diagrams, or UI references when needed.
- Larger context — Supports long contexts (e.g. 256K tokens), so bigger diffs and surrounding code stay in scope.
- Open and efficient — Open-weight model that delivers frontier-level quality at a fraction of the cost of many closed-source alternatives.
K2.5 is available via Kimi.com, the Kimi App, the API, and Kimi Code—and now directly inside ThinkReview for your daily code review workflow.
