Devstral 2 is now available in ThinkReview

We're excited to announce that Devstral 2 from Mistral AI is now available in ThinkReview. As Mistral describes it, Devstral 2 is a state-of-the-art open model for code agents—reaching 72.2% on SWE-bench Verified while staying up to 7x more cost-efficient than alternatives like Claude Sonnet at real-world tasks. You can now use it for AI-powered code reviews on GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket.

What is Devstral 2?

Devstral 2 is a 123B-parameter dense transformer with a 256K context window, released under a modified MIT license. It’s built for production-grade workflows: exploring codebases, orchestrating changes across multiple files, and maintaining architecture-level context. It tracks framework dependencies, detects failures, and retries with corrections—making it well-suited for bug fixing, refactors, and modernizing legacy code.

Devstral Small 2 (24B) is also available—same 256K context, Apache 2.0, and capable of running locally on consumer hardware while still scoring 68.0% on SWE-bench Verified.

Why use Devstral 2 in ThinkReview

  • SOTA open-weight coding — 72.2% on SWE-bench Verified places it among the best open models for code agents.
  • Cost-efficient — Up to 7x more cost-efficient than Claude Sonnet on real-world tasks, so you get strong reviews without breaking the budget.
  • Multi-file awareness — Understands your whole codebase, not just the current file, for architecture-level feedback.
  • Production-ready — Designed for exploring codebases, coordinating changes across files, and delivering reliable, actionable suggestions.

Mistral also ships Mistral Vibe CLI, an open-source command-line coding assistant powered by Devstral—and now ThinkReview brings Devstral 2 directly into your PR workflow.
